The Synagogue Church of All Nations on Tuesday held a press briefing ahead of the Laying-to-rest activities of its founder, Prophet T.B. Joshua who was called to glory on Saturday June 5th 2021.
The main focus of the press briefing is to update newsmen about the arrangements of the week-long service of Prophet TB Joshua's life and legacy.
When asked about the new successor of the church one of the church's representative, said matters of such will require ‘God’s anointing’ to direct them when the time is right.
“There is no answer because it is not an administrative issue,” he said.
The church restated that the week-long programme would start on July 5 to July 11 at the church headquarters located in the Ikotun area of Lagos state as opposed to the wish of the family and monarch of Arigidi, Akoko, Ondo state who wanted the cleric to be laid to rest in his hometown.
When asked if the Christian Association of Nigeria would be involved in the laying to rest activities, no clear answer was given but the church acknowledged that CAN reached out after the news of the cleric’s departure went viral. The church representative said TB Joshua is a “friend to all, enemy to none”.
An international member of the church Gary Tonge said July 5 to July 11 has been dedicated to a series of laying-to-rest activities tagged ‘Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Prophet Joshua’.
On June 5th 2021, God took his servant prophet TB Joshua home - as it should be by Divine will. His supernatural call home was met with an outpouring of millions of testimonies and tributes from 195 countries - representing every tribe, every tongue and every nation on the face of the earth.
