PROMINENT NIGERIANS CONVERGED AS ABIMBOLA ABODERIN UNVEILS NEW BOOK.

The launch of a book written in honour of late Chief MKO Abiola was held on Saturday June 12  at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs located at 13/15, Kofo Abayomi Road, Victoria Island, Lagos. 

The book titled 'Democracy and the Untold Story of June 12', was written by Chief Abimbola Aboderin.

This book throws insight on controversies surrounding  June 12 election. Chief Abimbola Aboderin cautiously delivers a seamless narrative that dwells on his relationship with MKO Abiola and the struggles to reclaim his mandate after the election. All the key players in the June 12 Sega are lucidly captured in the aforementioned book which exposes the intrigues that accompany partisan politics.

The book launch event which captured several prominent Nigerians wowed many as high profile dignitaries who stormed the event launched the book with an overwhelming sum of money, even though some key persons invited were conspicuously absent.

Present at the event were Mr. Aare (Dr.) Afe Babalola, High Chief Mike Cerruti Osagie, Dr. Emmanuel Jindu Ozah, Oloye Tajudeen Ajibola, Arole Oduduwa Ooni Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II Ooni of Ife, and many more dignitaries. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's was  among those who sent representatives.

A surprising number of people bought copies of the book which goes for N20,000. While the Ooni of Ife ordered for hundreds of copies. 

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) launched the book with N5,000,000. Many others launched the book with millions of Naria.

 Some of the dignitaries promised to send an undisclosed amount of money to purchase theirs.
